Nice and St. Tropez

So to start out with France is awesome! Instead of taking a train to Paris from Milan we took one the Nice. Nice was a really neat city. It was on the ocean with Promenade running along it. We took a tour bus around Nice and learned the interesting history, saw lots of historical things, went to a lot of museums, and saw the amazing billion dollar villas along the water. It was really pretty there and I loved it. The day before we left I took a mile maybe two long jog along the Promenade and I was sore for the next few days but it was nice to work out. We hopped in the car on our third day and headed to St. Tropez but on the way stopped in the Hollywood hotspot, Cairns. It was a beautiful town on the ocean and we got lunch there then got back in the car for the rest of the way. When we got there we went to the tourist place like 2 min. before it closed and found a small fair priced apartment for the night. I was kind of sick and didn’t want to go out that night but I ended up being dragged anyway. We walked across a peaceful beach and saw the sunset. Then walked along the harbor and saw all of the really expensive yachts and then found a place for dinner. It was a little hole in the wall but the food was amazing. We got foi gra and seafood pasta and everything was delicious. The waitress which I think was also the owner had her music on and singing along and dancing and it was a lot of fun. The only thing was that she didn’t speak English and the menu was only in French so we just had to guess ad go for it.
