last days in New Zealnad!

On my lasat day in new zealand i woke up at the hotel we were at and i new that it was the day we had planned to surf! yay! i had been waiting for this day! we checked out then headed to the beach! the waves were great! they were from 9-12 ft not joking so i walked into downtown and rented a 6 11" board and a wet suit (it was sooooo thin)! then i headed back i got a few strange looks cuz no other girls were out there and cuz the waves were big! but i went out and found the rip near the little island sticking into the water and waited i felt like i was gunna die at times cuz the waves were sooo huge! at i first rode a wave that was just breaking and i rode it alll the way in! then went back out and caught a face front wave! yay me! it was huge! i was like screaming when i was at the peak! then i went dowm and just ripped! i rode it till it died then caught the littler waves inside whcih carried me in. then went back out and got smashed! lol so i came back in for the inside waves! my sister got a lesson while i was surfing and she was in the little tiny baby white wash waves in like 2ft of water lol but she did pretty good. the wind kept changing then i couldnt catch anyhting since i had a short board so i came in. i walked back to the shop and returned the stuff. o ya btw new zealand surfer guys r hot! and i totally impressed them wit being out there and surfing! lol well it was a good day of surfing! then we headed to auckland and then found a room. then nexrt morning we checked out and headed to the airport and we were on ou way to ausrtalia!cheers -ari
